A while back I came across the graphic designer Ronny Edry, who accidentally created an online movement for peace in the Middle East. It started with an image he posted on Facebook which read “Iranians, we will never bomb your country.” As its popularity increased, Ronny started creating variations with images of his fellow Israelis, standing along side those same words. It wasn’t long before Ronny was surprised to receive replies from graphic designers in Iran with posters which had similar messages. And so a dialogue began, without realising it, Ronny had started something which was never thought possible, two supposedly enemy countries, communicating about peace and love.
